Bathing lakes & Stuiben Falls
The Stuiben Falls are 159 meters high, and therefore they are Tirol's biggest waterfall. In summer there is an impressive via ferrata nearby. Several platforms provide an excellent view of the powerful Alpine waters plunging into the depths of the valley here. In winter you have a completely different landscape: the Stuiben Falls freeze into a magical ice sculpture that you can marvel at on a winter hike. Lovely lake Piburger See, which is very close to your apartment in Sautens, makes a great destination in summer and in winter: in summer it offers bathing pleasure against the breathtaking Alpine backdrop, while the lake and the world around it freeze to ice and snow in winter - it doesn't matter from which angle you discover the lake, it always looks like a postcard.
